Christopher Browning, AIA Principal Architect With more than 30 years of experience in the design, development and construction industry, Chris has a solid reputation for creating projects that fit the regional and local context and provide a positive experience for the users. Chris serves as the lead architect for the new Prescott Valley Town Center, a 600-acre downtown incorporating walkable neighborhoods with "old town" features, a medical district, an entertainment/retail center, diverse choices in housing, recreational amenities, "green" building systems and open space. These strategies personify "smart growth" communities and are creating new opportunities for developers in this high-growth region to enhance the community, boost the economic base and add long-term value. A graduate of Iowa State University, Chris began his career designing office buildings for Fortune 500 companies in Chicago while working for the largest design/build company in the US. He later directed design, development and permitting for Vermont's 6,000-acre Quechee Lakes community, spearheading the award-winning master and open space plan. Active in the Grand Canyon Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Chris is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and to professional development for the entire staff. Chris also serves on the board of Affordable Housing Resources Inc. |
Peter Bourgois, ASLA Principal Landscape Architect With nearly three decades of experience as a licensed Landscape Architect and Planner, Peter has developed innovative concepts, plans and designs for the full spectrum of projects. His broad practical experience combined with strong graphic design talent has made him as adept at designing large-scale, mixed-use projects as he is at small, more specialized projects. Peter works hand in hand with our clients to develop solutions that offer the best of all worlds - creativity, practicality and affordability. No matter what the assignment, he draws on the synergy of the location, the local flavor and the culture of a place to create vibrant, people-oriented environments. Peter has been the lead master planner and landscape architect for the Prescott Valley Town Center and has worked on numerous private and public projects in Prescott Valley including the Prescott Valley Town Center, Prescott Valley Convention and Events Center, Prescott Valley Library and the Prescott Valley Family Support Center. A member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, he earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Idaho and an A.A.S. in Forestry from the State University of N.Y College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Peter is a Licensed Landscape Architect in AZ, NM, CA, ID, MA and WY. |
